This is Jack's face when you say, "Jack....BIG SMILES!"

Here we are at Sundance with David's family. We took the chair lift up to the top and had a picnic. Later on that day, David, his sister Anna, and I went mountain biking at Sundance. It was a blast! Grandma Taylor made the kids all matching shirts and Celestia a dress. They were African inspired from her recent missionary trip to Africa.

We stayed at David's family's cabin at Sundance for the week and had a wonderful time. It is so relaxing and peaceful up there. The kids loved hiking and playing at the playground right across from the cabin. Also, we loved having our own personal waterfall "Stewart Falls" to hike to...it seems like no one is ever there. It was our own little piece of heaven!,

Craigslist Find

We bought a new high chair..I know it is a bit bright, but for $20 bucks vs. $200 new, I couldn't go wrong! I just love it when I find a great deal. Ever since Mason started sitting up and eating I have been wanting a new high chair...the old wooden one was just too hard clean. Plus we always had to whip out a belt to strap the baby down. It was a pain. Now we are eating in style, at least Mason is. Jack thinks its pretty cool too.

California...

Here are a few pics from California...we're still here in CA, but thought you all would like some sneak peaks of our fun in the sun....

We took the kids to the beach today...Celestia was "in love" with it...she couldn't get enough. I was surprised how much she liked it. If she had her way, we would have stayed all day, but we just went for a few hours. It was just a gorgeous day, bright, sunny and BEAUTIFUL! David and I met on a hike at Muir Woods/Muir Beach, so going back there is always wonderful :)

...
Doesn't my hair look sooo dark here? I can't believe how dark my natural hair color is...I have officially grown out all of my highlights...until next time

We also went out on my parent's boat. Too bad David didn't get that awesome shot of me showing off my water-skiing skills....maybe next time.

The kids loved it and also loved the SLOW tube ride they went on...

Here we are at a quick trip to the Nut Tree Park...a perfect little amusement park for small children.

Summertime...

Have you missed me???

I know, I know, we've been busy with our summer vacation....no time to blog.

Oh how we love summer!!! At least I do. The three kids and I are out visiting my parents in California right now soaking up the sun and swimming nonstop while David is on a trip with Cadets in Morocco.

I know what you're thinking..."WOW what an amazing mom she is flying solo with three small kiddos!" Yeah, I know, you're jealous you didn't get to do the same thing, right? I did survive the flight alone with my 3 kids, although I made myself sick because I was so nervous about the whole thing....I was literally sick all that night and the next day AFTER the flight because I had been so nervous about it! I'm sure all you moms understand what its like. The kids were pretty good on the plane, the only mishap was Jack threw up in the terminal while waiting to fly...yeah you heard me, no biggie, just a little throw-up...it was one of those moments you expect to happen but can't believe actually DOES happen to you!!! Luckily after he finished, he was fine...just stunk a bit. Ha!

David is on a trip to Morrocco with 4 cadets from the AF Academy enjoying triple digit temperatures and no air-conditioning (obviously not a good combo). They are on a "cultural immersion trip"...did I spell that right? Anyway, he'll be joining us this coming Friday out here in CA. We look forward to seeing daddy again.

Celestia turns 4 tomorrow! We actually already celebrated on Saturday by going to the Nut Tree Family Park...a cute little amusement park that was just recently built here in my parent's town. She had a blast riding the train, carousel, bumper cars and other little rides. I enjoyed the ice cream at Fenton's afterward....awesome ice cream at that place...you all know how much I LOVE ice cream!

Celestia has also learned to swim without any help...she was using a floaty thingy, but now can go from one end of the pool to the other without any help and she is oh-so-proud of herself!

Jack turned 2 last month. We had a little celebration at home with just us, not anything exciting...cupcakes and a little tikes basketball hoop...he was in heaven.

I wish I could post some pictures, but David took our good camera with him to Morrocco and my parents only have a regular film camera....so no pics until Daddy gets here.

We will be here in CA until the 18th. We'll be home for maybe 2 days and then head off again....to UTAH!!! David's family has a cabin up at Sundance and we get to stay in it for a week. YEAH!!! I love that place!

So, tah-tah for now!!!
